Praying for Bulgaria: A 365 Day Global Prayer Journey - March 20 (Day 80).

Today we pray for a precious country emerging from a generation of Communism, yet filled with hope and excitement for the future. The church is growing, and God is at work. Please learn more about Bulgaria from pages 173-176.

My prayer for today: Lord, thank You for Bulgaria - for its heritage and its life, for the freedom and independence it now enjoys. Thank You for the church in Bulgaria. We pray for its continued growth and strengthening. We pray for a move of the Holy Spirit within the Orthodox Church. We pray for unity between evangelical churches and also between evangelicals and Orthodox so that the full richness of Your body may be seen and enjoyed in Bulgaria. We ask that You empower the churches to be witnesses of true racial and ethnic unity, witnesses of the peace that comes between people when we are one in Christ. We pray for training of church leadership, discernment, and a broad vision for the country that will include reaching all the unreached groups, the ethnic minorities, and those from other religious backgrounds. We pray for Your power to flood the church in Bulgaria and Your presence to be clearly evident. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
