Praying for Germany: A 365 Day Global Prayer Journey - May 30 (Day 151)

Germany. Even those with a passing knowledge of world history have some immediate associations: Nazis, Hitler, death camps. Yet Germany today is far more than the result of two world wars and tragic genocide. Germany in 2012 is a thriving economy, finally unified after more than 40 years of partition. Germany also boasts freedom of religion and strong connections with the Catholic and Lutheran churches which are tax-funded. Evangelicals are growing in prominence, yet Christianity as a whole is declining as in much of Europe.

Please learn about Germany on pages 359-364. We'll spend the next 3 days praying for this strategic nation. Today, we begin with a prayer from a woman who grew up in Germany.
