Today's prayer focus is Nicaragua, a country that has sustained a 40-fold increase in the evangelical church in the past half-century! Please read pages 634-637 and join in praying for Nicaragua.
My prayer for today: Lord, thank You for Nicaragua and for the way You've used so many trials to draw Nicaraguans to Yourself. We thank You for the evangelism of local churches and the fruitfulness of growth. We pray for this country which still faces so much recovery for the previous civil war and ongoing poverty. We pray for the church to have wisdom to minister to the deep needs of the people who are turning to Christ. We pray for unity and sound doctrine within the churches and against the models that mimic foreign churches. We pray for churches that work with the unique needs of Nicaragua and reflect who You made these precious people to be. We pray You will finish the task in Nicaragua and develop a missions vision in the church there. In Jesus' name, amen.
