Haiti catapulted into the world's eyes with the massive earthquake in 2010. The needs for development are significant, but Haiti's needs go far deeper than rubble and financial rebuilding. With 75% of the people involved in Voodoo, and with illness and disease lowering the life span, Haiti remains the poorest nation in the Western hemisphere with both material and spiritual poverty abounding.
